Alexandr Trifonov (born March 13, 1986) is a Kazakh biathlete. He competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics for Kazakhstan. His best finish was 18th, as part of the Kazakh Biathlon at the 2010 Winter Olympics – Men's relay, relay team. He also finished 69th in the Biathlon at the 2010 Winter Olympics – Men's individual, individual. As of February 2013, his best performance at the Biathlon World Championships, is 15th, in the Biathlon World Championships 2012, 2012 men's relay. His best individual performance in a World Championships is 80th, in the Biathlon World Championships 2012, 2012 sprint. As of February 2013, his best Biathlon World Cup finish is 15th, achieved in two men's relay events. Yury Valentinovich Trifonov (russian: link=no, Юрий Валентинович Трифонов; 28 August 1925 – 28 March 1981) was a leading representative of the so-called Soviet "Urban Prose". He was considered a close contender for the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1981. Valentin Andreyevich Trifonov (Russian: Валентин Андреевич Трифонов; 8 September 1888 – 15 March 1938) was a Bolshevik activist, Soviet politician and one of the leaders of Cossack revolutionary forces who played a major role in establishment of Soviet rule in the Don Voisko Province. His son Yury Trifonov became one of the most popular Soviet writers. Born into a Cossack family, Trifonov joined the Bolshevik faction of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party in 1904 and participated in the Russian Revolution of 1905. Rumen Trifonov ( bg, Румен Трифонов; born 21 February 1985) is a former Bulgarian professional footballer who played as a defender. He is currently working as a youth coach for CSKA Sofia. Career Trifonov earned his first call-up to the Bulgaria national side in March 2011 for the Euro 2012 qualifier against Switzerland and the friendly match versus Cyprus, but did not feature in these games.
