Triad United Aces
The Triad United Aces are a USASA women's soccer team based in North Carolina that have made repeated appearances in USASA national tournaments. Tournament results 2007 The Aces participated in the 2007 National Women's Amateur and made it all the way to the final, where they ultimately lost to the New York Athletic Club by a score of 2-4. 2008 The Aces failed to qualify for the 2008 National Women's Amateur. In Region III qualifying, the Aces beat the Houston Challengers 4-3 before losing to the Turbo D'Feeters 1-5 the next day. The D'Feeters would go on to win the Amateur title. 2009 The Aces failed to qualify for the 2009 National Women's Cup. USASA
The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) is a national organization for amateur soccer in the United States. It consists of 55 state organizations as well as national, regional and state leagues. The National Premier Soccer League, NISA Nation and United Premier Soccer League are USASA national affiliates designed to promote a higher level of competition than the state organizations. USASA also affiliates the Women's Premier Soccer League, one of the unrecognized third division leagues below the fully professional NWSL. USL League Two was once affiliated with USASA but is now its own player registration organization. USASA has over 250,000 adult members within its leagues and teams. USASA National Women's Cup
The USASA National Women's Open is an American women's soccer tournament run by the United States Adult Soccer Association. It began in 1996, and from 2009 to 2012 it was known as the Women's Cup. Before the formation of the Women's Open, the Women's Amateur was the top national cup competition. Historically, it has only been contested by amateur and semi-pro teams, as teams from professional leagues (WUSA, WPS, and the NWSL) are not allowed to enter the competition. In 2012 though, the Chicago Red Stars, a professional club in the WPSL Elite, entered and won the competition. Similarly, the professional Houston Aces of WPSL won in 2013. The defending Women's Cup champions are Olympic Club, who won the title over the ASA Chesapeake Charge after beating the Charge 2–0 in the final game day of the 2015 round robin group. Real Salt Lake Women (previously known as Salt Lake United and ''Sparta Salt Lake'') was an American women's soccer team that was founded in 2008. The team was a founding member of United Women's Soccer league, in the second tier of women’s soccer in the United States and Canada. The team played in the Women's Premier Soccer League from 2008-2015. Utah Royals FC of the National Women's Soccer League, also owned by Real Salt Lake, created a reserve team that would start play in the Women's Premier Soccer League in 2019. Austin FC is an American professional soccer club based in Austin, Texas. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Carolina Elite Cobras, formerly Central SC Cobras, is an American women's soccer team, founded in 2010. The team is a member of the United Soccer Leagues W-League, the second tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. History The team played its first season at Younts Soccer Stadium on the campus of Columbia College in Columbia, SC. But, moved to Greenville, SC for the 2013 season. For the 2013 season the Central SC Cobras FC acquired new Sponsoring Partner Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA). Though the franchise is still based out of Columbia it now also works out of Greenville. The 2011 USASA National Women's Cup was the 16th edition of the annual national soccer championship, won by the St. Louis powerhouse J.B. Marine S.C. in an overtime 2-1 victory over Sparta United WSC of Salt Lake City. This was J.B. Marine's sixth title over all competitions. Regional Phase Region I Region II J.B. Marine S.C. qualified by winning a four-team playoff series after finishing fourth in group play after St. Louis Scott Gallagher, the Croatian Eagles, and the Kansas Dynahawks. They beat Dallas Premier 2-0 in overtime in the final. Regional Phase Region I NYAC beat Danubia in the final, with Vereinigung Erzebirge and the Peninsula Aztecs as the losing semifinalists. Quarterfinalists included PA West United, the Philadelphia United German-Hungarians, and the Partizan Richmond Ladies. Region II Region II was decided by a five-team round-robin, with the Kentucky Wanderers edging out both J.B. Marine S.C. and the Croatian Eagles on a goal-differential tiebreaker.
