Treyten Lapcevich
Treyten Lapcevich (born April 6, 2004) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Canada Series, driving the No. 20 Chevrolet Camaro. He is the 2023 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion. Personal life Treyten’s older brother, Cayden was the 2016 Pinty’s Series champion. Treyten’s father, Jeff was also a driver in both the CASCAR Super Series, CASCAR East, CASCAR West and NASCAR Pinty's Series. Jeff also raced in the Grand-Am Road Racing Series. Racing career Lapevich made his Pinty’s Series debut at Sunset Speedway in 2020 as a substitute for Alex Tagliani in the No. 18 car. He would finish 2nd in his debut. He would also run the second race at Sunset that season. He would move to the No. 20 full time in 2021. He would score 7 Top 10s along with 5 Top 5s. Grand-Am Road Racing or Grand-Am was an auto racing sanctioning body that was established in 1999 to organize road racing competitions in North America. Its primary focus was the Rolex Sports Car Series, an endurance racing championship series. It sanctioned five auto racing series. Marc-Antoine Camirand (born 30 April 1979) is a Canadian racing driver. He currently competes in the NASCAR Pinty's Series and is the 2022 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion. Early career Camirand began karting in the early 1990s, winning the F100 Junior class in the Quebec Karting Championship in 1993 and the Formula Super A class in the Canadian Karting Championship two years later in 1995. Camirand moved to cars in 1996, beginning with the Formula Ford Canada championship. Camirand won the championship in 1997 and afterwards moved on the U.S. F2000 National Championship. Delaware Speedway
Delaware Speedway is a half-mile paved race track that is one of the oldest continuously operating tracks in Canada. It is located a few minutes west of London, Ontario northeast of Delaware, Ontario. It hosts stock car racing every Friday night during the summer. The track opened in 1952 as a quarter-mile dirt track that was paved in 1960. In August 1969, the track was expanded to a 1/2 mile paved oval and continues today.
