Trey Fix-Wolansky
Trey Kieren Fix-Wolansky (born May 26, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Columbus Blue Jackets in the National Hockey League (NHL). Early life Fix-Wolansky was born on May 26, 1999, in Edmonton, Alberta, to parents Cheryn and Dallas. Playing career Growing up in Edmonton, Fix-Wolansky played for the CAC Canadians U15 and U18 AAA team in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League. In 2014, he was selected for the 2014 AMBHL All-Star Game. He finished his AMBHL career in 2015 and joined the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Cleveland Monsters
The Cleveland Monsters are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). The team began play in 2007 as the Lake Erie Monsters and since 2015 has served as the top affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). 2019–20 AHL Season
The 2019–20 AHL season was the 84th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 4, 2019, and was officially cancelled on May 11, 2020. The 2020 Calder Cup playoffs, which was also cancelled, would have followed the conclusion of the regular season. The league suspended play on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America, and was not able to resume play. Toronto Marlies
The Toronto Marlies are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto. They compete in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a member of the North Division of the Eastern Conference. The Marlies is owned by Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment, a company that owns several professional sports teams in the city, including their NHL affiliate, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
