Trevor Smith (field Hockey)
Trevor Smith (born 15 April 1949) is a retired field hockey player from Australia, who was a member of the national team that won the silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He also went to the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, where the Australian team missed the medals, finishing fourth. Personal Trevor was involved with the business Hockeyworld along with younger brothers Roger Smith and Terry Smith who also played hockey for Australia. Field hockey was introduced at the Olympic Games as a men's competition at the 1908 Summer Olympics, 1908 Games in London, with six teams, four from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and other two were France and Germany. The 1984 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the XXIII Olympiad and also known as Los Angeles 1984) were an international multi-sport event held from July 28 to August 12, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, United States.
