Trevor Large
Trevor Large (born June 8, 1980) is a Canadian former ice hockey player who is currently the head coach at Canisius. Career Large played his college hockey at Ferris State for the "legendary" Bob Daniels. He played for years for the Bulldogs and was part of the programs first ever NCAA tournament appearance in 2002–03. After graduating with a degree in computer information systems Large returned to the college ranks in 2006 simultaneously earning his MBA and serving as an assistant coach at American International. Once his graduate career was completed he moved to West Point to become an assistant with Army's hockey team. Army Black Knights Men's Ice Hockey
The Army Black Knights men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the United States Military Academy. The annual NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament is a college ice hockey, college ice hockey tournament held in the United States by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to determine the top men's team in NCAA Division I, Division I. Like other Division I championships, it is the highest level of NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship, NCAA men's hockey competition. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began on October 5, 2019, and was intended to conclude with the Frozen Four in April 2020. This would have been the 73rd season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held, and was US college hockey's 126th year overall. However, the postseason tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In February, seven members that had previously announced their withdrawal from the WCHA following the 2020–21 season announced that they were reforming the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, and that the new conference would begin play with the 2021–22 season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCAA, along with several conferences, decided to ban spectators from attending many of the games played after March 10, 2020, including the 2020 Frozen Four. The 2019 Atlantic Hockey Tournament is the 15th Atlantic Hockey Tournament. It was played between March 8 and March 23, 2019, at home campus locations and at the HarborCenter in Buffalo, New York. By winning the tournament, American International earned Atlantic Hockey's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. Format The tournament features four rounds of play. In the first round the sixth and eleventh, seventh and tenth, and eighth and ninth seeds, as determined by the conference regular season standings, will play a best-of-three series with the winners advancing to the quarterfinals. Dave Smith (ice Hockey)
David Smith (born November 21, 1968) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the NCAA RPI Engineers men's ice hockey team, a position he has held since the 2017–18 season. Smith was a member of the 1992–93 Turner Cup champions, the Fort Wayne Komets. Coaching career In 1998, following a six-year professional minor league career, Smith joined the coaching staff of the Miami RedHawks men's ice hockey team as an assistant.
