Trevor Haynes is an Australian businessman, and president, North America of the Subway fast food chain. He was appointed acting CEO from June 2018 until November 2019, after Suzanne Greco retired. In November 2019, Subway named former Burger King chief executive John Chidsey as CEO. Early life Haynes has a master's degree from the Queensland University of Technology. Career Haynes joined Subway in 2006 as territory manager in Australia and moved to the UK in 2009 as senior area development manager for the UK and Ireland. In 2014, he moved to head office as global director of operations and head of business development. In May 2018, Haynes became interim CEO, and acting CEO in June 2018, when Suzanne Greco retired. Subway is an American multinational fast food restaurant franchise that specializes in submarine sandwiches (subs), wraps, salads and drinks. Subway was founded by 17-year-old Fred DeLuca and financed by Peter Buck in 1965 as Pete's Super Submarines in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Suzanne Greco
Suzanne Greco (née DeLuca, born 1957/58) is an American businesswoman, who was the president and CEO of the Subway fast food chain, from January 2015 to June 2018. She is the sister of Fred DeLuca, the co-founder of the company. Early life She was born Suzanne DeLuca, the daughter of Salvatore DeLuca and his wife Carmela DeLuca (née Ombres, daughter of Salvatore and Teresina Regasto Ombres). She has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Sacred Heart University. Career Greco began working at Subway in 1973 and was running operations and research and development. She is the sister of Fred DeLuca the co-founder, and took over in January 2015, as her brother had been ill with leukemia for two years (he died in September 2015). John Walker Chidsey (born June 11, 1962) is an American businessman and attorney who has served as CEO of Subway since November 2019. He was formerly the executive chairman and CEO of Burger King Corporation. He is a director and member of the audit committee for HealthSouth Corporation. He previously was chairman and CEO for two corporate divisions of Cendant Corporation from January 1996 to March 2003. Early life Chidsey earned a bachelor's degree from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, an MBA in finance and accounting from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a juris doctor from Emory University School of Law.
