Trevor Griffin (cricket Coach)
Trevor Griffin is an English cricket coach and former club cricketer. He is the current head coach of women's cricket teams Western Storm, and London Spirit, and has previously been head coach of Sydney Thunder (WBBL), Sydney Thunder and Sunrisers (women's cricket), Sunrisers. Career Griffin worked for Nationwide Building Society until 2007. He played club cricket for Ottery St Mary and Whimple. Between 2007 and 2015, Griffin worked as a coach for the Devon Cricket Board, the Chance to Shine charity, and the University of Exeter. He was also the head coach of Ottery St Mary. In 2015, he worked as a coach for Canterbury cricket team in New Zealand. Western Storm
Western Storm are a women's cricket team representing South West England and Wales, one of eight regional hubs in English domestic cricket. They play their home matches at the County Ground, Taunton, the County Ground, Bristol and Sophia Gardens. They are captained by Sophie Luff and coached by Trevor Griffin. The team is partnered with Somerset, Gloucestershire, Glamorgan, Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire and Cricket Wales. Originally formed to compete in the Women's Cricket Super League in 2016, Western Storm won the competition twice, in 2017 and 2019. Mike Hussey
Michael Edward Killeen Hussey (born 27 May 1975) is an Australian cricket coach, commentator and former international cricketer, who played all forms of the game. Hussey is also widely known by his nickname 'Mr Cricket'. Hussey was a relative latecomer to both the one-day international and Test Australian teams, debuting at 28 and 30 years of age in the respective formats, with 15,313 first-class runs before making his Test debut. However, he had a highly successful international career, being the top-ranked ODI batsman in the world in 2006. He played first-class cricket as vice-captain of the Western Warriors in Australia and played for three counties in England, as well as the Indian Premier League for the Chennai Super Kings. 2020–21 Women's Big Bash League Season
The 2020–21 Women's Big Bash League season or WBBL, 06 was the sixth season of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), the semi-professional women's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament took place from 25 October to 28 November 2020. It was played entirely in Sydney due to ongoing state border restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Brisbane Heat entered the season as double defending champions, having won back-to-back titles in WBBL04 and WBBL05. The Heat finished the regular season with seven-straight wins but suffered an "epic meltdown" in a twelve-run semi-final loss against the Sydney Thunder, ending their hunt for a three-peat. Joanne Broadbent
Joanne Broadbent (born 29 November 1965) is an Australian former cricketer who played as an all-rounder, batting left-handed and bowling left-arm medium. She appeared in 10 Test matches and 60 One Day Internationals for Australia between 1990 and 2000. In August 1998, she scored 200 in a Test match against England, and took one ODI five-wicket haul, 5/10 against New Zealand in 1993. She played domestic cricket for South Australia and Queensland. The 2019–20 Women's Big Bash League season or WBBL, 05 was the fifth season of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), the semi-professional women's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament moved to a standalone calendar slot, shifting away from the men's BBL, beginning on 18 October and running to 8 December 2019. The 2016 Women's Cricket Super League, or 2016 Kia Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the first season of the Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), a semi-professional women's cricket competition in England and Wales. The competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), consisted of six franchise teams playing in a Twenty20 format. Caroline Mary Ghislaine Foster (; born 13 January 1981) is an English cricket coach and former player. She was a right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler who appeared in 9 Test matches, 58 One Day Internationals and 19 Twenty20 Internationals for England between 2001 and 2011. Women's Cricket Super League
The Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), known as the Kia Super League (KSL) for sponsorship reasons, was a semi-professional women's Twenty20 cricket competition in England and Wales operated by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
