Trevor Carlin
Trevor Carlin is a British motorsports team manager and owner. He currently owns Carlin Motorsport in the IndyCar Series. Carlin has had success in the junior motorsport formulas in a period spanning over 25 years. Carlin's career began in International Formula Three. As Team Manager of Bowman Racing, he assembled a talented group of engineers and achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the British Formula Three Championship in the team's first three seasons and won the 1989 Macau Grand Prix with David Brabham driving. In 1993, Carlin joined West Surrey Racing where he oversaw the racing programmes of Marc Gené, Cristiano da Matta and Pedro de la Rosa before negotiating the team's move into the British Touring Car Championship with Ford Motorsport. St Albans, United Kingdom
St Albans () is a cathedral city in Hertfordshire, England, east of Hemel Hempstead and west of Hatfield, north-west of London, south-west of Welwyn Garden City and south-east of Luton. St Albans was the first major town on the old Roman road of Watling Street for travellers heading north and became the city of Verulamium. Ed Jones (racing Driver)
Edward Jones (born 12 February 1995) is an Emirati-born British racing driver, currently competing in an Oreca 07 for Jota Sport in the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship. At different points in his career, Jones has competed under both British and Emirati licences. He is the 2016 Indy Lights champion, winning for Carlin Motorsport in his second season in the series. He joined the IndyCar Series in 2017 driving for Dale Coyne Racing, and placed third at the 2017 Indianapolis 500. Indy NXT, previously Indy Lights, is an American developmental automobile racing series sanctioned by IndyCar, currently known as Firestone Indy NXT Series for sponsorship reasons. Indy Lights is the highest step on the Road to Indy, a program of racing series leading up to the IndyCar Series. The Indy Lights series has been promoted by Anderson Promotions since 2014, which also manages the Road to Indy program. GP2 Series
The GP2 Series was a form of open wheel motor racing introduced in 2005 following the discontinuation of the long-term Formula One feeder series, Formula 3000. The GP2 format was conceived by Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, while Ecclestone also has the rights to the name GP1. The series was organized by Bruno Michel. In 2010, the GP3 Series class was launched, as a feeder class for the GP2 series. In 2017, the series was rebranded as the FIA Formula 2 Championship. GP3 Series
The GP3 Series, or GP3 for short, was a single-seater motor racing series launched in 2010 as a feeder series for the GP2 Series, introduced by GP2 organiser Bruno Michel. GP3 followed the entire European leg of the Formula One series and the GP2 (now Formula 2) series as a support race for the two.
