Trevon Duval
Trevon Tyler Duval (born August 3, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Grand Rapids Gold of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. High school career Duval attended St. Benedict's Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey during his Freshman and Sophomore years. As a sophomore in 2014–15, Duval led the Gray Bees to a 31–6 record and NCSAA state championship in which he scored 25 points and had 8 assists. Prior to his sophomore year, Duval along with Isaiah Briscoe for the AAU team, New Jersey Playaz won the 2014 Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) Peach Jam Championship. In September 2015, Duval transferred to Advanced Preparatory International in Dallas, Texas for his Junior season. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls. It is rare for girls to compete in the slam dunk contest. The Jordan Brand Classic is a high school All-Star basketball game played annually in April. The game's rosters feature the best and most highly recruited high school boys in the senior class including alumns like Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum and Zion Williamson. Isaiah Jamal Briscoe (born April 13, 1996) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League. In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads directly to a score by field goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the basket.
