Diane "Di" Trevis (born 8 November 1947) is an English theatre director and actress. Early life and education Trevis was born in Birmingham and educated at Sussex University. Career After eight years as an actress, which included appearances in The Professionals and The Sweeney, Trevis began directing in 1981. She was the first woman to run a company at Britain's Royal National Theatre. Between 1986 and 1993, she directed ''Happy Birthday Brecht'', '' The Mother'', ''The School for Wives'', ''Yerma'', '' The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui'' and '' Inadmissible Evidence'' for the National. In 2000 she adapted for the stage, with Harold Pinter, Pinter's unfilmed cinema adaptation of Proust's ''Remembrance of Things Past''. Trevis JeMar Simpson (born September 5, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for Promitheas Patras of the Greek Basket League and the EuroCup. He played college basketball for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. High school career Simpson attended Coffee High School in Douglas, Georgia where he was rated a top 100 recruit. As a junior in 2008–09, he averaged 16 points per game. He graduated from Coffee in 2010 and left as a three-time all-region selection. Vittore Benedetto Antonio Trevisan de Saint-Léon (5 June 1818, in Padua – 8 April 1897, in Milan) was an Italian botanist who specialized in cryptogam, cryptogamic flora. During his career, he was a professor of natural history in Padua. In 1882 he was named president of the ''Accademia fisio-medica-statistica'' in Milan. Trevis Gipson (born June 13, 1997) is an American football defensive end for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tulsa. Derek Alan Trevis (9 September 1942 – 21 December 2000) was an English professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Active in both England and the United States, Trevis made nearly 500 career league appearances. Career Born in Birmingham, Trevis began his professional career in 1962 with hometown club Aston Villa. Trevis also played in the Football League for Colchester United, Walsall, Lincoln City and Stockport County, before moving to the United States to play in the North American Soccer League. Trevis Smith (born September 8, 1976) is a former football linebacker who played seven years with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Smith was formerly a linebacker for the University of Alabama. On October 28, 2005, he was charged with aggravated sexual assault in Surrey, BC for knowingly exposing women to the HIV virus by having unprotected sex with them and not revealing his condition. Constable Marc Searle of the RCMP named a complainant called simply "A. O." who claimed that Smith had assaulted her between November 26, 2003, and May 18, 2005. After appearing in court in Surrey, he was freed on a C$10,000 bail after pleading "not guilty".
