Trentino Basket Cup
The Trentino Basket Cup is an annual friendly basketball tournament hosted by the Italian national basketball team. The tournament consists of four teams and is held in Trento. PalaTrento
BLM Group Arena (formerly known as PalaTrento) is an indoor arena that is located in Trento, Italy. The arena is mainly used to host volleyball, basketball, futsal, and concerts. The capacity of the arena is 4,360, with 3,569 of the seats being upper tier box seating, and 791 of the seats being lower tier retractable seating. The arena includes a gym for gymnastics, a fencing area, a judo hall, a weight lifting room, a sports bar, a medical infirmary, and an interview room. History The arena was opened in 2000, and since then has become the home arena of the Lega Basket Serie A, Italian League basketball club Aquila Basket Trento, and also the Italian Volleyball League club Trentino Volley. They are administered by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). EuroBasket 2021 Qualification
The EuroBasket 2022 qualification was a basketball competition that was played from November 2017 to February 2021, to determine the 20 FIBA Europe nations who would join the automatically qualified co-hosts Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany at the EuroBasket 2022 finals tournament. Pre-Qualifiers The EuroBasket 2022 Pre-Qualifiers were played by 17 teams over three rounds. The best eight teams advanced to the EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers. First round The pre-qualifiers first round was played by nine teams: Five eliminated in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup pre-qualifiers, and four teams that did not enter in those qualifiers. The winner of each group and the best runner-up team qualified for the second round, that gave the option to qualify directly to the EuroBasket qualifiers. 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup
The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the 18th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men's national basketball teams. The tournament was hosted in China and was rescheduled from 2018 to 2019, becoming the first since 1967 FIBA World Championship, 1967 that did not occur in the same year as the FIFA World Cup (which was held the previous year). The Ivorian Coast national basketball team is the men's basketball side that represents Ivory Coast in international competition.
