Trent Skaggs (born June 7, 1973) is a businessman and a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives. He resides in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife, Amanda Corn, their two daughters, Ella and Cora, and their son, Levi. He was born in North Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from North Kansas City High School. The Missouri House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Missouri General Assembly. It has 163 members, representing districts with an average size of 37,000 residents. House members are elected for two-year terms during general elections held in even-numbered years. North Kansas City is a city in Clay County, Missouri, United States. It is also enclaved in Kansas City. Even though the name is similar to its larger counterpart, Kansas City, it is an independent municipality part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The population was 4,467 at the 2020 census. North Kansas City High School (also known as NKCHS, NKC, and Northtown) is a high school in North Kansas City, Missouri, United States, with over 1,900 students enrolled. It is a part of the North Kansas City School District. The first graduating class found of record was in 1917 with three known graduates. The school began as an all-white school, due to the inhabitants of the community, and is now one of the most diverse and integrated schools in the nation. Since July 2001, Northtown has been an International Baccalaureate World School with Dr. Jane Reed as the program coordinator. Northwest Missouri State University is a public university in Maryville, Missouri. It has an enrollment of about 8,505 students.
