Trent Hentschel
Trent Hentschel (born 25 December 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was taken in the 2002 Pre-Season Draft with pick 5, and currently serves as the defence development coach of the Port Adelaide Football Club. Playing career 2003–2004 Debuting for Adelaide in 2003 as a 20-year-old, Hentschel took his time to adapt to the speed of AFL football. He played just three games in the 2003 season, failing to register a kick in his first game (finishing only with one handball). In total, Hentschel had 19 disposals with an average of just over six for the season, kicking just two points. In 2004, Hentschel started well playing his first 14 games. He kicked a four goal haul at Subiaco Oval against West Coast, and consistently was able to pick up more than ten disposals a match. Essendon Football Club
The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is a professional Australian rules football club. The club plays in the Australian Football League (AFL), the game's premier competition. The club was formed by the McCracken family in their Ascot Vale, Victoria, Ascot Vale home "Alisa", and while the exact date is unknown, it is generally accepted to have been in 1872. The club’s first recorded game took place on 7 June 1873 against a Carlton Second 20. Matt Thomas (Australian Rules Footballer)
Matthew Thomas (born 27 February 1987) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). In 2013, Thomas won the Magarey Medal while playing for Norwood. He was delisted by Port Adelaide at the end of the 2013 season. Thomas was picked up by Richmond in the 2013 Rookie Draft and then elevated to its senior list on 11 March 2014. Port Adelaide career Recruited at pick number eight in the 2006 Pre-season draft from TAC Cup side Sandringham Dragons, Thomas played as either a defender or a midfielder.
