Trent Bartlett
Trent Bartlett (born 26 November 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Brisbane Bears, Brisbane Lions and Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). Bartlett captained Tasmania in the Teal Cup and was playing for Deloraine when he was picked up by the Brisbane Bears, with the 45th selection of the 1993 AFL Draft. He was used at centre half back at the Bears and spent some time as a key forward when he switched to the Lions in 1998, only after sitting out of football in 1997 with an ankle injury. He was traded to the Western Bulldogs in 2000, for Michael Martin and played 21 games for the season. As a tall forward, he kicked five goals in a win over Carlton that year. Bartlett played for Tasmanian Devils Football Club in the Victorian Football League between 2003 and 2006. The Clarence Football Club, nicknamed ''The Kangaroos'' (and usually referred to as simply "The Roos"), is an Australian rules football club playing in the Tasmanian State League, based in Bellerive, Tasmania. Before 1947, they existed as Bellerive Football Club. The Club play their home games at Blundstone Arena (formerly Bellerive Oval), Hobart's Test Cricket ground, they share the facilities with Tasmania's cricket team, the Tasmanian Tigers. Victorian Football League
The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). It includes teams from clubs based in the eastern states of Australia: Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and includes reserves teams for the east coast AFL clubs. The league evolved from the former Victorian Football Association (VFA), and it has been known by its current name since 1996. For historical purposes, the present-day VFL is referred to as the VFA/VFL, to distinguish it from the present-day Australian Football League, which in turn was known until 1990 as the Victorian Football League and is thus referred to as the VFL/AFL. Brisbane Bears
The Brisbane Football Club, nicknamed the Bears, was a professional Australian rules football club based in Queensland on the Gold Coast (relocated to Brisbane in 1993). The club participated in the Victorian/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL) between 1987 and 1996, and entered the league as the first of two non-Victorian expansion teams. It was the first privately owned club in the league's history. Its mascot was a koala and its main colours were maroon ( official colour of the state of Queensland) and gold (of the Queensland sunshine). Tasmania Devils Football Club (VFL)
Tasmania Football Club, commonly known as the Tasmania Devils, is an Australian rules football club based in Tasmania and is owned and run by AFL Tasmania. The club formerly competed in the Victorian Football League in Australia. Formed in 2001, it was the youngest and the only fully non- Victorian club in the league. The club was based in the state of Tasmania at Bellerive Oval. At the end of the 2008 season, AFL Tasmania decided to withdraw the Devils from the VFL competition in favour of restarting a new Tasmanian league encompassing the entire state. The Devils are scheduled to re-enter the VFL in 2022 and currently compete at junior level as a representative side taking over from the Tassie Mariners in 2019 in the NAB League Boys, entering an NAB League Girls and Under 16 competitions.
