Travis Porter
Travis Porter is an American hip hop trio from Atlanta, Georgia. The group consists of stepbrothers Ali and Quez, and their friend Strap who they met in middle school. In November 2010 the trio signed with Jive Records. The group's biggest hits are " Ayy Ladies", " Bring It Back" and " Make It Rain", produced by longtime collaborators, production group FKi. Travis Porter released a biographical film titled ''Proud to be a Problem'' on May 18, 2010. Travis Porter has a YouTube channel with over 150 million views and a Twitter page. Music career Musical beginnings Travis Porter consists of Lakeem "Ali" Grant, Donquez "Quez" Woods and Harold "Strap" Duncan. During the early years, they started out as a group called the Hard Hitters, but later changed their name to Travis Porter to increase marketability. ''The Mo'Nique Show'' is an American talk show hosted by comedian and actress Mo'Nique. Aired on BET, the series began October 5, 2009. The show's second and final season premiered on Monday, October 4, 2010. RCA Music Group was an umbrella group of labels distributed by Sony Music Entertainment that existed between March 2004 and 2009, and for a short period of time between July 2011 and October 2011 as all RCA Music Group labels were merged with RCA Records. "Make It Rain" is a song by American hip hop group Travis Porter. It was first released on July 14, 2010, before being released on December 2, 2010 as the debut and lead single from their debut studio album ''From Day 1'' (2012). The song was produced by FKi. Music video The music video debuted on MTV Jams on December 19, 2010. In the Gabriel Hart-directed video, the owner of a dry corn farm watches an infomercial of Travis Porter saying that they will bring rain, and calls them.
