Travis Adrian Chapman (born June 5, 1978) is an American former professional baseball third baseman, who played one game in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies in . Playing career Chapman attended Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He enrolled at Mississippi State University, where he played college baseball for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 1998. He was drafted by the Phillies in the 17th round of the 2000 Major League Baseball draft and played his first professional season with the Batavia Muckdogs of the New York-Penn League. Orleans Cardinals
The Orleans Firebirds, formerly the Orleans Cardinals, are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Orleans, Massachusetts. The team is a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) and plays in the league's East Division. In baseball, an at bat (AB) or time at bat is a batter's turn batting against a pitcher. An at bat is different from a plate appearance.
