Travis Boak (born 1 August 1988) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Boak List of Port Adelaide Football Club captains, captained the club from 2013 to 2018, and is the club's VFL/AFL games records#Club games record holders, AFL games record holder with 327 games. He is also a three-time All-Australian team, All-Australian, dual John Cahill Medallist and three-time Showdown Medallist. The AFL Rising Star is an Australian rules football award presented annually to the player adjudged the best young player in the Australian Football League (AFL) for the year. It was first presented in the 1993 season, and was won by Nathan Buckley, playing for the Brisbane Bears. 2014 Brownlow Medal
The 2014 Brownlow Medal was the 87th year the award was presented to the player adjudged the fairest and best player during the Australian Football League (AFL) home and away season. Matt Priddis of the West Coast Eagles won the medal by polling twenty-six votes during the 2014 AFL season. Defending Brownlow Medallist Gary Ablett of the Gold Coast Football Club was the short-priced favourite for the medal until he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in round 16. Jackson Trengove (born 2 November 1990) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). AFL career Port Adelaide (2010–2017) Port Adelaide used their second round pick, number 22, to draft Trengove in 2008. He was initially aligned to the Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL having been taken at pick #5 in the SANFL Mini Draft. Shaun Playford Burgoyne (born 21 October 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Port Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL, and Port Adelaide and Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Kane Graham Cornes (born 5 January 1983) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life A product of Sacred Heart College and Glenelg in the SANFL, he made his AFL debut in 2001 after being selected with pick 20 in the 2000 AFL Draft.
