Ron McLarty
Ronald William McLarty (April 26, 1947 – February 8, 2020) was an American actor, playwright, and novelist. He also worked as an audiobook narrator, in which role he recorded over 100 titles and received many Audie Awards. McLarty appeared in numerous television series, films and stage productions. He also wrote dozens of plays and 10 novels, notably '' The Memory of Running'' (2004). Career McLarty began his career in theatre during the early 1970s with one of his earliest professional performances being the role of Lucky in Michael Weller's ''Moonchildren'' for the play's American premiere at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. in November 1971. McLarty continued with the production when it moved to Broadway in 1972. McLarty also co-starred on '' Spenser: For Hire'', as Boston homicide detective Sgt. Frank Belson. Walter Coulson
Walter Coulson (1795 – 1860) was an English newspaper editor, barrister, writer and associate of Jeremy Bentham. He served as Parliamentary reporter on the ''Morning Chronicle'' and was the editor of the evening paper ''The Traveller''. Life He was the second son of Thomas Coulson, master painter in the royal dockyard at Devonport (died in 1845), and Catherine, second daughter of Walter Borlase, surgeon of Penzance, and was born at Torpoint in Cornwall. He acted as amanuensis to Bentham, and obtained a place as parliamentary reporter on the staff of the ''Morning Chronicle''. Travellers is a card game of the patience or card solitaire genre which uses a single card pack of either 52 or 32 playing cards. It is an interesting game based on "an entirely new principle" which Parlett describes as a "rhythmical feature that might be called 'shuttling'", as in the game of Weavers.Parlett (1979), pp. 185–186. It should not be confused with the twin-pack patience game, also called Travellers. Marc Miller designed ''Traveller'' with help from Frank Chadwick, John Harshman, and Loren Wiseman. Editions were published for GURPS, d20, and other role-playing game systems. Jigen Keisatsu
is a fictional character created by Monkey Punch for his manga series '' Lupin III'', which debuted in '' Weekly Manga Action'' on August 10, 1967. Jigen is the marksman, aide-de-camp and best friend of Arsène Lupin III. Along with colleague Goemon Ishikawa XIII, he joins Lupin in pursuit of riches acquired typically by theft. Traveling across the globe, Jigen has garnered fame as a gunman with a wildly capable speed and accuracy. Creation and conception According to Monkey Punch, Jigen was created as a New York raised American gangster based on actor James Coburn, especially his role in '' The Magnificent Seven''. When the series was adapted into animation, the role was portrayed by Kiyoshi Kobayashi, the voice actor responsible for dubbing many of Coburn's roles into Japanese. "Traveller" was recorded for Linde Nijland's album, ''A Musical Journey'', in 2010. The story of the video is based on her lyrics, which portrait a traveller who asks herself questions along the road. Symbolically, the questions are about the meaning of life. The video is intended to convey the astral sense of the song. A 2D computer animation with watercolour paintings were designated for the background, to carry over the softness and pureness of Nijland's voice and music into the video.
