Trashy Lingerie is a Los Angeles based custom-made lingerie store. It is known for its unique designs and its association with Hollywood celebrities. A notable part of their business model is that Trashy Lingerie requires a $2 annual membership fee in order to shop in the store. History ''Trashy Lingerie'' is an apparel store started in 1973 by shoe designer Mitch Shrier and his wife Tracy. The store was named after a sling-back shoe called the “Trashy”, and initially specialised in footwear. The Shriers entered the lingerie business by hand-dying stockings in bright colors. La Cienega Boulevard is a major north–south arterial road that runs between El Segundo Boulevard in Hawthorne, California on the south and the Sunset Strip/Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood to the north. It was named for Rancho Las Cienegas, literally "The Ranch Of The Swamps," an area of marshland south of Rancho La Brea. Centerfold
The centerfold or centrefold of a magazine is the inner pages of the middle sheet, usually containing a portrait, such as a pin-up or a nude. The term can also refer to the model featured in the portrait. In saddle-stitched magazines (as opposed to those that are perfect-bound), the centerfold does not have any blank space cutting through the image. The term was coined by Hugh Hefner, founder of ''Playboy'' magazine. The success of the 1953 first issue of ''Playboy'' has been attributed in large part to its centerfold: a nude of Marilyn Monroe. The advent of monthly centerfolds gave the pin-up a new respectability, and helped to sanitize the notion of "sexiness". A corset is a support garment commonly worn to hold and train the torso into a desired shape, traditionally a smaller waist or larger bottom, for aesthetic or medical purposes (either for the duration of wearing it or with a more lasting effect), or support the breasts.
