Transwa B11R
Transwa is Western Australia's regional public transport provider, linking 240 destinations, from Kalbarri in the north to Augusta in the south west to Esperance in the south east. The Transwa system provides transport to the major regional centres of Bunbury, Kalgoorlie, Northam, Geraldton and Albany. Transwa is part of the Public Transport Authority and was launched on 28 May 2003 replacing the Western Australian Government Railways Commission. The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is a statutory authority that oversees the operation of all public transport in Western Australia. History The Public Transport Authority was formed on 1 July 2003 in accordance with the ''Public Transport Authority Act 2003'' as the body overseeing the provision of public transport in Western Australia. The ''AvonLink'' is a rural passenger train service in Western Australia operated by Transwa between Midland and Northam. History The consideration of revitalising passenger services in 1993 saw the ''Avonlink Ministerial Committee'' formed by Minister for Transport Eric Charlton. The first ''AvonLink'' service departed Northam for East Perth on 24 September 1995, and was significant, as it was the first new country passenger rail service in Western Australia for 47 years.AvonLink and MerredinLink

Volvo B11R
The Volvo B11R is a 10.8-litre engined coach chassis available as both two- and tri-axle from Volvo since 2011. It was introduced as the second of the Volvo BXXR series, replacing the rest of the B12B range in 2011, and later its fellow BXXR platform model, the B13R in 2013. The B11R is the standard chassis for both the 9700 and 9900 coaches, except the North American 9700 which still use the B13R. It is also available in the Indian market and is sold by Volvo under the 9400 brand with a length of 14.5 metres and has bodywork similar in design to pre-2018 European Volvo 9700/9900. A version for double-decker coaches, known as B11RLE, is also produced. It was first introduced in June 2018 with Plaxton Panorama bodywork for UK and Irish markets, and was later expanded to mainland Europe in February 2020 with launch of Volvo 9700DD, a double-decker version of Volvo 9700. Meekatharra is a town in the Mid West region of Western Australia. Meekatharra is a Yamatji word meaning "place of little water". At the 2016 census, Meekatharra had a population of 708, with 34.0% being of Aboriginal descent. Meekatharra is a major supply centre for the pastoral and mining area in the Murchison region of Western Australia. It is located north-east of Perth and may be reached by the Great Northern Highway. Pemberton, Western Australia
Pemberton is a town in the South West region of Western Australia, named after original settler Pemberton Walcott. History The region was originally occupied by the Bibbulmun people who knew the area as Wandergarup, which in their language meant 'plenty of water'. The Scania 4-series low floor city bus and coach range was introduced by Scania in 1997 as a successor to the 3-series bus range. The 4-series bus range was first presented in September 1996, when the integral low-floor city bus OmniCity was revealed. Production of the chassis range started in second half of 1997, and by the end of 1998 all worldwide production facilities had changed from 3-series to 4-series. Volgren
Volgren is an Australian bus and coach body manufacturer. History Volvo Buses, VolGrenda Corporation, gren was formed in 1977 by Melbourne bus operator Grenda Corporation in Dandenong, Victoria. Because Grenda held the Volvo Buses dealership in Victoria, only chassis from this manufacturer were bodied until 1989 when the dealership was relinquished. Kalgoorlie Railway Station
Kalgoorlie railway station is the most eastern attended station in Western Australia, located at the eastern terminus of the Eastern Goldfields Railway. It serves the city of Kalgoorlie. Beyond Kalgoorlie, the line continues east as the Trans-Australian Railway. The Prospector (train)
''The Prospector'' is a rural passenger train service in Western Australia operated by Transwa between East Perth and Kalgoorlie. On this service, two trains depart almost at the same time in opposite directions, one travelling between East Perth and Kalgoorlie, and the other between Kalgoorlie and East Perth. The original vehicles ordered in 1968 for trains providing this service were replaced in 2004 with vehicles capable of reducing journey times to 6 hours 45 minutes. Merredin Railway Station
Merredin railway station is located on the Eastern Goldfields Railway in Western Australia. It is in the town of Merredin. History The original Merredin station opened in 1895. It was an important station on the Eastern Goldfields Railway, being the junction station for a number of lines to locations in the Wheatbelt and Goldfields regions. The main eastern railway connected with Northam to the west, and to Southern Cross to the east. East Perth railway station is located on the Midland line and Airport line in Perth, Western Australia. It is operated by Transperth serving the suburb of East Perth.
