The Transitional Presidential Council (TPC; ; ) is a temporary body constituted on 12 April 2024 and sworn in on 25 April to exercise the powers and duties of the President of Haiti either until an elected president is inaugurated or until 7 February 2026, whichever comes first. Background The gradual disintegration of Haitian state institutions during the Haitian crisis (2018–present), Haitian crisis led to calls for acting Prime Minister Ariel Henry to step aside and surrender the ''de facto'' head of state functions.
