Transdev Queensland Bus is an Australian operator of bus services in the Redland City region of Brisbane. It operates 31 services under contract to the Government of Queensland under the TransLink banner. It is a subsidiary of Transdev Australasia. History In the 1960s Bayside Buslines was formed when Black & White Safety Bus Line and Blue & Silver Buses merged. In 1985 Bayside Buslines was sold to current Transit Systems owners Lance Francis, Graham Leishman and Neil Smith who owned Peninsula Bus Lines on the New South Wales Central Coast. In 1989 Bayside handed in its licences to operate in Lota, Manly and Wynnum, the services having become unprofitable following the reopening of the Cleveland railway line retaining its Redland City services. Lota is an eastern outer coastal suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the , Lota had a population of 3,256 people. Geography Lota is by road east of the Brisbane CBD. The south and east of the suburb is dominated by the mudflats and mangrove wetlands of Lota Creek and Waterloo Bay. To the west and north, the land rises towards the heights of Manly and Manly West. Beenleigh is a town and suburb in the City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. In the , the suburb of Beenleigh had a population of 8,252 people. A government survey for the new town was conducted in 1866. The Cleveland railway line is a suburban railway line extending east-southeast from Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia. It is part of the Queensland Rail City network.
