Bergen Tramway (''Trikken i Bergen'') was a tram in Bergen, Norway. It was in operation from 1897 to 1965. The first three lines were opened on 29 June 1897. Starting in 1950, tramway lines were gradually replaced with bus and Trolleybuses in Bergen, trolleybus routes. The last line closed in 1965. Since 1993, a Heritage streetcar, heritage tram is operated in Møhlenpris by the Bergen's Electric Tramway association. A Bergen Light Rail, light rail system was proposed in 1995, adopted in the 2000s and started operating in 2010. Møhlenpris
Møhlenpris (formerly Vestre Sydnes) is a neighbourhood in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. It is next to the Puddefjorden in the borough of Bergenhus. The neighbourhood is named after Jørgen Thor Møhlen, who was a shipowner, slave trader, innovator and businessman who established some industry at Møhlenpris in the late 17th century. Most of the buildings date from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Variotram
The Stadler Variobahn (formerly sold as the ABB Variotram, Adtranz Variotram and Bombardier Variotram) is a German-designed model of articulated low-floor tram and light rail vehicle. Since its introduction in 1993, the Variobahn has been manufactured variously by ABB, Adtranz, Bombardier Transportation, and since 2001 by Stadler Rail. As of 2009, 254 trams have been ordered, with an additional 110 on option. A unit costs about €2.5 million. Bergen Airport ( nn, Bergen lufthamn; ), alternatively Bergen Flesland Airport or simply Flesland Airport, is an international airport located at Flesland in the city and municipality of Bergen, Vestland, Norway.
