Tramaine Billie
Tramaine Billie (born November 15, 1983) is a former American football player. He graduated from Clemson University, and played professionally in 2010 for the Fort Wayne FireHawks of the Continental Indoor Football League, where he was named Co-Defensive MVP of the league. High school career Billie attended Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina, where he was coached by Bill Bacon. Billie played two seasons at linebacker before moving to running back his junior season, in which he rushed for 2,003 yards (school record) and 19 touchdowns and also made 52 tackles. As a senior, he rushed for 1,000 yards in the first five games of the 2002 season with an offensive line that did not have a returning starter, after missing two games with a sprained ankle, Billie ended his senior season with 1,570 yards and 17 touchdowns in just eight games; also added 58 tackles, including two sacks, three caused fumbles, and a blocked kick, good enough to make him a Mr. Football finalist, and ... Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. 2007 Clemson Tigers Football Team
The 2007 Clemson football team represented Clemson University in the 2007 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Tigers were led by head coach Tommy Bowden and played their home games in Memorial Stadium. Notable Clemson played host to the Florida State Seminoles on Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2007 in both teams' season opener. The game was played before a primetime national audience on ESPN as the only college football game in that time slot. It was only Clemson's second regular season Monday night game, the last being in 1982 against the University of Georgia. Clemson opened its season with 3 consecutive home game victories. The 2006 Clemson Tigers football team represented Clemson University in the 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season The team was coached by Tommy Bowden and played their homes game in the Memorial Stadium. Portions of the season, specifically the games against Florida Atlantic and Florida State, were featured in the 2020 film ''Safety'', which is about sophomore safety Ray McElrathbey taking care of his little brother while their mother receives treatment for drug addiction. Notable ESPN's College Gameday show made its first-ever appearance in Clemson for the game between the Tigers and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on October 21. Kirk Herbstreit mentioned both during and after the show, that he felt that Clemson hosted one of the best Gameday audiences he'd ever seen. The 2005 Clemson Tigers football team represented Clemson University in the 2005 NCAA Division I-A football season. The team was coached by Tommy Bowden and played their homes game at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. Season Clemson started off its season with wins over a ranked Texas A&M team and the Maryland Terrapins. However, Clemson then lost the following three games to Miami, Boston College, and Wake Forest. The losses to Miami and Boston College came in overtime. Clemson then rebounded to win the next two games against NC State and Temple. The next week, Clemson lost a close game to Georgia Tech.
