Tragic Hero Records is an independent record label founded in Raleigh, North Carolina, in March 2005 to represent the growing metalcore and post-hardcore scene of North Carolina. Epitaph Records is an American independent record label owned by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, most acts signed to the label were punk and pop punk acts, while there are many post-hardcore and emo bands signed to the label as well. UNFD (pronounced as an initialism ˈjuːˈenˈefˈdiː/ is an independent record label based in Melbourne, Australia. Erra (stylized as ERRA) is an American progressive metalcore band from Birmingham, Alabama, formed in 2009. The band was named after the homonymous Akkadian god of war and plague. Razor & Tie was an American entertainment company that consisted of a record label and a music publishing company. It was established in 1990 by Craig Balsam and Cliff Chenfeld. Based in New York City (with additional offices in Los Angeles and Nashville), Razor & Tie releases were distributed by Universal Music Group. Razor & Tie initially focused on compilation albums and re-issues. Directly marketed through television spots, the label had early success with 70s, 80s and 90s-themed albums, beginning with ''Those Fabulous 70s'' in 1990. Crossfaith
Crossfaith (Japanese: クロスフェイス) is a Japanese metalcore band from Osaka that was formed in 2006. Since its formation, the band has retained the same line-up with no member changes, which currently consists of vocalist Kenta Koie, guitarist Kazuki Takemura, bassist Hiroki Ikegawa, drummer Tatsuya Amano and keyboardist Terufumi Tamano. They are characterized by performing a style of metalcore with dubstep and other forms of electronic music influences, and for their intense live performances. Confide (band)
Confide was an American metalcore band from Anaheim, California, formed in 2004. They have released two EPs and three full-length albums. Although all the members of the group are openly Christian, they have not been marketed in the Christian market since the band is on a secular label. The band toured across the United States, following their debut album Shout the Truth, but also toured Europe and Asia with later albums. On October 4, 2010, Frontman Ross Kenyon announced that the band would be disbanding after their Japan tour. The band played their farewell show on November 7, 2010 in Pomona, CA. The band temporarily reformed in August 2012 to write and record their third full-length record titled "All is Calm" through Kickstarter. Boxbomb
Boxbomb was a rock band based in Central North Carolina. Its members have never changed and include Ryan Gustafson (vocals and guitar), Rob Mcfarlane (guitar), Justin Holder (drums), and Rosean Frank-Alexander (bass). The group formed in the spring of 2003 and has resided in Chapel Hill and Durham since that time. In the summer of 2005, Boxbomb self-released the ''Golden EP''. In 2006 Boxbomb signed to Future Tense Records and began recording their first full length at Warrior Studios in Chapel Hill. After completing the album, the band had to look for a new label, as Future Tense had shut its doors before the album (then unnamed) was ever released. The Afterimage was a Canadian progressive metalcore band from Barrie, Ontario. The band formed in 2011 with members from local bands such as Centuries Apart and The Prologue--vocalist Kyle Anderson, guitarists Alex Lappano and Mike Ticar, drummer Nick McCaslin, and bassist Dallas Bricker.
