Tracy Lawrence Discography
Tracy Lawrence is an American country music singer. His discography comprises fourteen studio albums, one live album, eight compilation albums, one box set, and 46 singles. Of his albums, the highest-certified are 1993's ''Alibis'' and 1996's ''Time Marches On'', each certified 2× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Lawrence made his debut in late 1991 on Atlantic Records with the single "Sticks and Stones", which topped the ''Billboard'' charts in January 1992. Following this song came several more top ten country hits, including four straight number ones from ''Alibis'', and one each from ''I See It Now'' and ''Time Marches On''. The title track of the latter album is also his longest-lasting number one, at three weeks. Tracy Lawrence
Tracy Lee Lawrence (born January 27, 1968) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Atlanta, Texas, and raised in Foreman, Arkansas, Lawrence began performing at age 15 and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1990 to begin his country music career. He signed to Atlantic Records Nashville in 1991 and made his debut late that year with the album '' Sticks and Stones''. Five more studio albums, as well as a live album and a compilation album, followed throughout the 1990s and into 2000 on Atlantic before the label's country division was closed in 2001. Afterward, he recorded for Warner Bros. Records, DreamWorks Records, Mercury Records Nashville, and his own labels, Rocky Comfort Records and Lawrence Music Group. It is published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine and is frequently used to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. ''For the Love'' is the ninth studio album by American country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It was released on January 30, 2007 by Rocky Comfort Records. It debuted at #53 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Three singles were released from the album: "Find Out Who Your Friends Are" reached #1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart and became Lawrence's first chart-topping song since "Time Marches On" in mid-1996. ''Lessons Learned'' is the sixth studio album by American country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It was also his last album for Atlantic Records before the closure of Atlantic's Nashville division in 2000. This album produced three singles for Lawrence between 2000 and 2001: the title track, "Lonely", and "Unforgiven", which peaked at #3, #18, and #35, respectively, on the ''Billboard'' country singles charts. The Independent Albums chart (previously titled Top Independent Albums) ranks the highest-selling independent music albums and extended plays (EPs) in the United States, as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan and published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. It is used to list artists who are not signed to major labels. Rankings are compiled by point-of-purchase sales obtained by Nielsen, and from legal music downloads from a variety of online music stores. The chart began in the week of February 5, 2000. ''The Coast Is Clear'' is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It was released on March 18, 1997 by Atlantic Records. It produced five singles: "How a Cowgirl Says Goodbye", "Better Man, Better Off", "The Coast Is Clear", "One Step Ahead of the Storm" and "While You Sleep". Though the first two singles charted at #2 and #4 on the country chart, respectively, the title track was the first single of Lawrence's career to fall short of the Top Ten. "While You Sleep" missed the Top 40 entirely, and "One Step Ahead of the Storm" failed to chart at all. Lawrence did not release another studio album until ''Lessons Learned'', in 2000. Released in 1994 on Atlantic Records, the album produced four singles: the title track, "If the World Had a Front Porch", "Texas Tornado", and "As Any Fool Can See".
