Tracey Curro
Tracey Ilana Curro (born 27 November 1963 in Ingham, Queensland) is an Australian journalist. Curro has previously been a news presenter on GMV-6, QTQ-9 and ATV-10 and a reporter on the Seven Network's ''Beyond 2000'', a science-technology show, and correspondent on ''60 Minutes (Australian TV program), 60 Minutes''. Career Curro is a graduate of the Queensland University of Technology (Bachelor of Business – Communications) and the Institute of Strategic Leadership, New Zealand. She was embroiled in a court case when she broke her contract with the producers of ''Beyond 2000'' to join ''60 Minutes'': ''Curro v Beyond Productions Pty Ltd'' (1993) 30 NSWLR 337, decided 7 May 1993. She can occasionally be heard filling in for regular presenters on 774 ABC Melbourne radio, notably filling in for a two-week period in 2005 following the departure of Virginia Trioli, and has written for ''The Australian Women's Weekly''. Ingham, Queensland
Ingham is a rural town and locality in the Shire of Hinchinbrook, Queensland, Australia. In the , the locality of Ingham had a population of 4,426 people. It is named after William Bairstow Ingham and is the administrative centre for the Shire of Hinchinbrook. Geography Ingham is approximately north of Townsville and north of the state capital, Brisbane. The town is positioned about 17 km inland within the Herbert River floodplain where Palm Creek drains the low-lying lands. It is surrounded by sugar cane farms which are serviced by a number of private railways The North Coast railway line passes through the town, which is served by the Ingham railway station. Jo Hall (born 25 June 1958) is a former Australian retired television presenter. Hall currently presents '' Nine News Regional Victoria'' and is a reporter for '' Nine News''. Career Hall began her career with a Melbourne newspaper cadetship, then joined '' Nine News'' in 1979. In 1990 she became the first woman to be presented with the Thorn Award, a national award for journalism. She presented ''Nine News Melbourne'' on weekends for 13 years and has filled in for Peter Hitchener. Hall also presented national ''Nine News'' late news update on weekends. She also works with the Variety Club on McHappy Day and is a patron of Bonnie Babes, a research organisation. In November 2011, it was announced that Hall wanted to scale back her role, with Alicia Loxley replacing her as weekend news presenter. Carrie Bickmore (born 3 December 1980) is an Australian talk show and current affairs Gold Logie award-winning television and radio presenter. Early life Bickmore was born in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1980, but moved to Perth, Western Australia, with her family at an early age.
