Tracer (Overwatch)
Tracer is the alias of Lena Oxton, a fictional player character, playable character who appears in ''Overwatch'', a franchise centered around first-person shooter, first-person hero shooter video games developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Tracer was first seen in the 2014 Overwatch animated media, ''Overwatch'' Cinematic Trailer short. She was introduced as a playable character in an April 2016 update for the crossover multiplayer online battle arena game ''Heroes of the Storm'', nearly a month prior to the release of the first ''Overwatch (video game), Overwatch'' game. Overwatch 2
''Overwatch 2'' is a 2022 first-person shooter by Blizzard Entertainment. As a sequel to the 2016 hero shooter ''Overwatch'', the game intends a shared environment for player-versus-player (PvP) modes while introducing persistent cooperative modes. A major change in PvP modes was to reduce team sizes from six to five. Several major characters were also reworked. ''Overwatch 2'' is free-to-play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in early access on October 4 and features full cross-platform play. Jeffrey Kaplan is an American video game designer and former vice president of Blizzard Entertainment, a position he held until he left the company in 2021.
