Toyota Sports Center
The Toyota Sports Center (formerly the HealthSouth Training Center) is a practice facility for the Los Angeles Kings, and the Ontario Reign, located on 555 North Nash Street in El Segundo, California. The $24 million, facility broke ground on April 28, 1999, and officially opened on March 5, 2000. The facility is located on the grounds of the Grand Avenue Corporate Center. The facility includes three public ice rinks, NHL size, Olympic size, and a smaller size ice rink (the smaller-sized rink was originally an inline and roller skating rink, and was turned into an ice rink, completed in September 2011), sports medicine (formerly the basketball court), and a restaurant. In addition, the property houses complete training facilities, including locker rooms and office space for the Kings and Lakers. Evan Frank Lysacek (; born June 4, 1985) is an American retired figure skater. He is the 2010 Olympic champion, the 2009 World champion, a two-time (2005, 2007) Four Continents champion, the 2009 Grand Prix Final champion, and a two-time (2007, 2008) U.S. national champion. Lysacek was the 2010 United States Olympic Committee's SportsMan of the Year, and the winner of the James E. Sullivan Award as the top U.S. amateur athlete of 2010. UCLA Health Training Center
UCLA Health Training Center is an indoor arena and basketball practice facility located in El Segundo, California. It hosts the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League. The facility also serves as the training center for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). It has a seating capacity of 750 spectators. On August 31, 2016, it was announced that UCLA Health had signed a five-year naming rights deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal stipulates an option to extend in five-year increments. South Bay Lakers
The South Bay Lakers are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the team is owned by the Los Angeles Lakers, who were the first National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise to own a D-League team. At the conclusion of the 2016–17 D-League season, the D-Fenders re-branded as the South Bay Lakers for the G League. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Green Line (Los Angeles Metro)
The C Line (formerly the Green Line from 1995 to 2020) is a light rail line running between Redondo Beach and Norwalk within Los Angeles County. It is one of seven lines forming the Los Angeles Metro Rail system, and opened on August 12, 1995. Along the route, the line serves the cities of Downey, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Norwalk and Lynwood, the Los Angeles community of Westchester, and several unincorporated communities in the South Los Angeles region including Athens, Del Aire, and Willowbrook.
