Toy Story Franchise
''Toy Story'' is an American media franchise that started in 1995 with the release of the animated feature film of the same name, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the first computer-animated franchise, which is based on the anthropomorphic concept that toys, unknown to humans, are secretly living, sentient creatures. The films focus on a diverse group of toys that feature a classic cowboy doll named Sheriff Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) and a modern spaceman action figure named Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen and Chris Evans), later media that also depicts the films within a film about the latter character. The group unexpectedly embark on adventures that challenge and change them. John Lasseter
John Alan Lasseter (; born January 12, 1957) is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, animator, voice actor, and the head of animation at Skydance Animation. He was previously the chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Disneytoon Studios, as well as the Principal Creative Advisor for Walt Disney Imagineering. Lasseter began his career as an animator with The Walt Disney Company. After being fired from Disney for promoting computer animation, he joined Lucasfilm, where he worked on then-groundbreaking use of CGI animation. The Graphics Group of the Computer Division of Lucasfilm was sold to Steve Jobs and became Pixar in 1986. Lasseter oversaw all of Pixar's films and associated projects as executive producer. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (also known as Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters at California, Tokyo and Hong Kong, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast at Paris and Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue at Shanghai) is an interactive shooting dark ride attraction located in the Tomorrowland area of the Disney theme parks. Lego ''Toy Story'' is a Lego theme based on the Disney·Pixar's ''Toy Story'' film franchise. The first four sets were released on December 30, 2009, with an additional two sets being released on January 4, 2010. ''Toy Story 4 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)'' is the soundtrack album for the 2019 film ''Toy Story 4'', the fourth instalment in the ''Toy Story'' franchise, created by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.
