Lego Toy Story
Lego ''Toy Story'' is a Lego theme based on the Disney·Pixar's ''Toy Story'' film franchise. The first four sets were released on December 30, 2009, with an additional two sets being released on January 4, 2010. In May, five Lego and four Duplo sets were released under the ''Toy Story 3'' sub-theme. For the release of ''Toy Story 4'' there was one Duplo set based on the third film and 6 Lego sets based on the fourth film. These sets were released in March and in April of 2019 this time under the Juniors line. The minifigures in the sets were also now redesigned. An action figure is a poseable character (arts), character model figure made most commonly of plastic, and often based upon characters from a film, comic book, military, video game or television program; fictional or historical. Pull-back Motor
A pullback motor (also ''pull back'' or ''pull-back'') is a simple clockwork motor used in toy cars. A patent for them was granted to Bertrand 'Fred' Francis in 1952 as a keyless clockwork motor. Pulling the car ''backward'' (hence the name) winds up an internal spiral spring; a flat spiral rather than a helical coil spring. When released, the car is propelled forward by the spring. When the spring has unwound and the car is moving, the motor is disengaged by a clutch or ratchet and the car then rolls freely onward. Often the clutch mechanism is geared so that the pullback distance needed to wind the spring is less than the distance the spring is engaged propelling forward. Most of these cars are otherwise free-rolling. Winding them up requires them to be pushed downwards, engaging the clutch.
