Tout Ce Qui Brille
''Tout ce qui brille'' is a 2010 French film and the debut feature film for Géraldine Nakache and Hervé Mimran, who co-wrote and co-directed the film. It was filmed in Puteaux, La Défense, and Paris, notably the 16th arrondissement. Originally, ''Tout ce qui brille'' was a 2007 short film shot by the same directors. Plot Ely (Géraldine Nakache) and Lila (Leïla Bekhti) are two working class girls and best friends who dream of a glitzier, more glamorous lifestyle. They sneak into a nightclub where they meet Agathe (Virginie Ledoyen) and Joan (Linh Dan Pham) a rich, lesbian couple who give them a ride home. Lila, wanting to appear to be at the same social level as the girls, lies about where she and Ely live, giving the couple the address of a nice building in a wealthy neighborhood. Géraldine Nakache
Géraldine Nakache (born 16 February 1980) is a French actress, director and screenwriter of Algerian Jews, Algerian Jewish descent. Life and career Nakache grew up in an Algerian Jews, Algerian Jewish family. She earned a Diplôme d'études universitaires générales, DEUG diploma in cinema. She worked as assistant casting director in ''Groland'' on Canal + and as assistant director for ''Les Guignols de l'info'' and eventually executive producer on Comédie+. She has also appeared in a string of films and television series and directed ''Tout ce qui brille'' (2010) for which she won a number of awards and ''Nous York'' (2012). The Streets are an English music project led by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Mike Skinner. "Fit but You Know It" is a song by English rapper and producer Mike Skinner under the music project the Streets. It was released on 26 April 2004 as the lead single of the Streets' second studio album, ''A Grand Don't Come for Free'' (2004). The song reached number four on the UK Single Charts. Background Skinner told the Daily Star that the lyrics refer to former S Club 7 member Rachel Stevens who was embarking on a solo career at the time the song was recorded. He later denied the song was about Stevens and said that he threw her name out as a red herring to escape the nosey reporter's questions. Critical reception Leonie Cooper of ''NME'' called the "chugging beat" and "the extreme rowdiness of it all" the best parts of the song.
