Tourism In Mizoram
Mizoram is a state in the northeast of India. Mizoram is considered by many as a beautiful place due to its dramatic landscape and pleasant climate. There have been many attempts to increase revenue through tourism but many potential tourists find the lack of amenities to be a hurdle. However, the State continues to promote itself and many projects have been initiated. The tourism ministry continues to maintain or upgrade its tourist lodges throughout the state. Foreign tourists are required to obtain an 'inner line permit' under the special permit before visiting. The permit can be obtained from Indian missions abroad for a limited number of days or direct from Mizoram Government authorities within India. The state is rich in bird diversity, which has the potentiality to make it a major birding destination. For Mrs Hume's pheasant (''Syrmaticus humiae''), Mizoram is a stronghold. Murlen National Park
Murlen National Park is a national park located in the Champhai district Mizoram in India. The size of the park area is . The park is situated about 245 km east of Aizawl, and is close to the Chin Hills. It lies north of Lengteng Wildlife Sanctuary in the same district. It covers an area of approximately 100 km2. The tropical, semi-evergreen and sub montane Forests of Murlen are home to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Solomon's Temple, Aizawl Mizoram, India
Solomon's Temple is a church located in Aizawl Mizoram, India. The temple was constructed by the religious group Kohhran Thianghlim, translated as 'The Holy Church' in English. It was founded by Dr. L.B. Sailo in 1984 and is non-denominational. The temple is one of the largest in Mizoram state. History Dr. L.B. Sailo, the founder of Kohhran Thianghlim Church, said, "In the year 1991, God showed me Solomon's Temple in my dreams. I had never thought of Solomon's temple before, nor had any dream of constructing it, but when I saw it in my dreams in 1991, as soon as I woke up, I wrote down the temple as I saw in my dream." Hmuifang
Hmuifang is a tourist spot near Aizawl, Mizoram. It is about 50 km from Aizawl. With an elevation of 1619 metres the mountain is covered with forests reserves since all the Mizo Chief's time. History Hmuifang Tourist resort has been built right on the former land of Lallianvunga the erstwhile chief who used to rule over the villages in the mountain. Aizawl Theological College
Aizawl Theological College is an ecumenical seminary of the Presbyterian Church in Aizawl, Mizoram, India. It is affiliated to the Senate of Serampore College (University). The college is owned by the Mizoram Presbyterian Church and administered by the Mizoram Synod through its Theological Education Board. Durtlang Hospital
Synod Hospital, Durtlang (formerly known as Presbyterian Hospital, Durtlang) is a general hospital and nursing school in Aizawl, Mizoram, India. The hospital is widely known among Mizo people as "Durtlang Hospital". It is managed and governed by the Mizoram Presbyterian Church Synod. The hospital was established in 1928 by the Calvinistic Methodist Church (now the Presbyterian Church of Wales) as a nursing institute. It is the second hospital (after Christian Hospital Serkawn) established, and the largest non-governmental hospital in Mizoram. It has a registered capacity of 355 beds.
