Tour De Molvccas
Tour de Moluccas (abbreviated TdM) is a professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Maluku, Indonesia. The race is part of the UCI Asia Tour and was classified by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.2 category race. The participants pass through four areas of the Maluku province namely West Seram Regency, Central Maluku Regency, East Seram Regency and Ambon. Past winners 2017 Tour de Molvccas The first international cycling competition Tour de Molvccas (TdM) 2017 was held September 18 and end on September 23. Cyclists from 20 countries participated the race of five stages with a total distance of 713.7 kilometers. Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on Road surface, paved roads. Road racing is the most popular professional sport, professional form of bicycle racing, in terms of numbers of competitors, events and spectators. The two most common competition formats are mass start events, where riders start simultaneously (though sometimes with a Handicapping, handicap) and race to a set finish point; and time trials, where individual time trial, individual riders or team time trial, teams race a course alone against the clock. Central Maluku Regency ( id, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah) is a regency of Maluku Province of Indonesia. The Regency covers an area of 11,595.57 km2, and had a population of 361,698 at the 2010 Census, and 423,094 at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2021 was 424,730. Seram Island
Seram (formerly spelled Ceram; also Seran or Serang) is the largest and main island of Maluku province of Indonesia, despite Ambon Island's historical importance. It is located just north of the smaller Ambon Island and a few other adjacent islands, such as Saparua, Haruku, Nusa Laut and the Banda Islands. East Seram Regency ( id, Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur) is a regency of Maluku, Indonesia. It is mainly located on the island of Seram, but also includes smaller islands to the southeast comprising the Gorom and Watubela archipelagoes. The regency covers a land area of 5,779.12 km2, and had a population of 99,065 at the 2010 Census and 137,972 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 140,271. West Seram Regency
West Seram Regency is a regency of Maluku, Indonesia. It is mainly located on the island of Seram, but includes various islands lying to the west of Seram -- Manipa, Kelang, Boano, as well as the smaller islets of Babi, Pua, Masowoi and Marsegu. It covers a land area of 6,948.40 km2, and had a population of 164,654 at the 2010 Census and 212,393 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 212,495.
