Touhami Ghezzoul
Touhami Ghezzoul (born 5 January 1987) is an Algerian basketball player who plays for Al-Karamah of the Syrian Basketball League. He also played for the GS Pétroliers Professional career Ghezzoul started his career with Al Nasr. In 2011, he signed with GS Pétroliers. On May 6, 2022, Ghezzoul signed with Al-Karamah of the Syrian Basketball League (SBL) ahead of its Final Four stage. Center (basketball)
The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. They traditionally play close to the basket in the low post. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense. 2021 BAL Season
The 2021 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 1, was the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established as a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA, the BAL is the highest tier continental league of Africa, replacing the FIBA Africa Basketball League. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Africa, COVID-19 pandemic, the BAL held its inaugural season one year later as planned, with the season beginning in 2021. The Algerian Basketball Championship, now called the ABC National 1, formally known as the ABC Super Division, is the pre-eminent men's basketball league in Algeria. The Syrian Basketball League ( ar, الدوري السوري لكرة السلة) is the top-tier professional men's basketball league in Syria. It is organized annually as a national championship with playoffs and a national cup by the Syrian Basketball Federation. Both Aleppo teams, Jalaa SC and Al-Ittihad SC, dominated the league until 1993. History Jalaa SC, previously known as Shabibeh, dominated the league from 1956 until 1978.
