Tough Luv
''Tough Luv'' is the debut studio album by American hip hop duo Young Gunz. It was released on February 24, 2004 via Roc-A-Fella Records. Recording sessions took place at Sony Music Studios, Baseline Studios and Quad Recording in New York, and at The Studio and Homebase Studios in Philadelphia. Production was handled by Chad Hamilton, Just Blaze, Bink!, Boola, Darrell "Digga" Branch, Ez Elpee, Ruggedness and Scott Storch, with Jay-Z, Damon Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke serving as executive producers. It features guest appearances from Denim, Beanie Sigel, Cam'ron, Chingy, Freeway, Jay-Z, Juelz Santana, Omillio Sparks and Rell. The album peaked at number three on the ''Billboard'' 200 and topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. By 2010, it sold 421,000 units in the US. Young Gunz is an American hip hop duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, composed of rappers Young Chris (born Chris Ries in 1983) and Neef Buck (born Hanif Muhammad in 1983). The group is part of Beanie Sigel's State Property collective and was signed to Roc-A-Fella Records. Young Gunz' debut single, " Can't Stop, Won't Stop", made the top 15 on the Billboard charts in 2003. History State Property Ries and Muhammad had been friends since they were youths on the block(C-Ave). ''Brothers from Another'' is the second studio album by American hip hop duo Young Gunz. It was released on May 24, 2005 via Roc-A-Fella Records. Hip hop production, Production was handled by Chad Hamilton, Swizz Beatz, Boola, Bangladesh and Kanye West, with Jay-Z serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from Pooda Brown, 112 (band), 112, Daz Dillinger, John Legend, Kanye West and Memphis Bleek. Gerrell Gaddis (born July 22, 1976), better known by his stage name Rell, is an American R&B singer and songwriter from Bowman, South Carolina. He was the first male R&B singer to sign to New York City-based label Roc-A-Fella Records, where he recorded with artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Consequence, and Young Gunz. Kenneth Johnson (born October 17, 1977) better known by his stage name Omillio Sparks is an American rapper from West Philadelphia. Discography Sparks started his career off as a member of State Property and signed a recording contract with Jay-Z's record label Roc-a-Fella Records along with Beanie Sigel and others.
