Touchwood Hills
Touchwood Hills are a range of hills located in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The hills are composed of the "Big" Touchwood Hills and the Little Touchwood Hills. Together they are referred to as the Touchwood Uplands. The hills are in the Prairie Pothole Region of North America, which extends throughout three Canadian provinces and five U.S. states, and within Palliser's Triangle and the Great Plains ecoregion of Canada. The hills make up a large plateau that is north-east of Saskatchewan's capital city, Regina. To the west of the hills is Last Mountain Lake; to the north are the Quill Lakes, Foam Lake, and Fishing Lake; to the east is Good Spirit Lake; and to the south is the Qu'Appelle Valley. Saskatchewan Highway 10
Highway 10 is a provincial paved undivided highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It runs from Highway 1 near Balgonie until it transitions into PTH 5 at the Manitoba border. Highway 10 is about long. It passes through Fort Qu'Appelle, Balcarres, Melville, and Yorkton. It intersects Highway 1 and Highway 16. The highway is a component of Canada's National Highway System. Between Highway 1 the intersection with Highway 9 / Highway 16 concurrency in Yorkton, it is designated as a Core Route. The Melville–Yorkton section of Highway 10 used to go through Willowbrook; in the 1960s Highway 10 was realigned to a more direct route with the bypassed section becoming part of Highway 47 and Highway 52. Cupar, Saskatchewan
Cupar ( ) is a town 75 kilometres northeast of Regina, Saskatchewan, Regina in the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Cupar is settled on the flat plains 45 kilometres north of the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley. it is significant for its remarkable hockey history. It is often called the Home of Eddie Shore, as the legendary NHL defenceman was raised here. Cupar is the home of artist Jacqueline Berting. The Berting Glass studio is located north of town. One of her best known works is ''The Glass Wheatfield'', encompassing 1,400 waist-high glass wheat stalks, each piece individually hand cut and lamp worked. Berting calls her work "a salute to the Canadian farmer". The town hosts the Cupar Gopher Drop, a unique lottery held every summer.
