"Touch Me" is a song by Australian singer/songwriter Starley, released as a single on 9 June 2017. In an interview with auspOp in August 2017, Starley said "'Touch Me' is about being in a relationship with someone and not getting comfortable. Find out what that person likes mentally, physically, etc. and make an effort to do that. Don’t let it get boring!" The song is inspired by Groove Theory Groove Theory is an American duo, with former member, singer-songwriter Amel Larrieux and songwriter/producer/actor, Bryce Wilson. Starley Hope (born 3 October 1987) is an Australian singer and songwriter. She is best known for her 2016 debut single " Call on Me". Early life Starley Hope was born and raised in Sydney, New South Wales, to a Mauritian father and an Australian mother of Filipino and Japanese descent. She later moved to London to pursue a career in music, before moving back to Australia and signing with the label Tinted Records. Amel Eliza Larrieux (née Stowell; born March 8, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter and keyboardist. Larrieux rose to fame in the mid-1990s as a founding member of the duo Groove Theory along with Bryce Wilson. After leaving the group in 1999, she released her debut solo album, '' Infinite Possibilities'', the following year on Epic Records. In late 2003, Larrieux and her husband, producer Laru Larrieux, founded the independent label Blisslife Records, on which she has released four albums so far. Bryce Wilson (born October 7, 1972) is an American record producer/entrepreneur and actor. He was formerly half of late 1990s duo Groove Theory, and former artist on the early 1990s dance music/ electro hip-hop band Mantronix.
