Werner “Totto” Osvold (21 June 1941 – 3 June 2023) was a Norwegian radio entertainer. Personal life Born in Ålesund on 21 June 1941, Osvold was married to journalist Sissel Benneche Osvold. Ålesund
Ålesund () sometimes spelled Aalesund in English, is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre and the centre of the Ålesund Region. The town of Ålesund is the administrative centre of Ålesund Municipality, as well as the principal shipping town of the Sunnmøre district. The town is a sea port and is noted for its concentration of Art Nouveau architecture. The Reichskommissariat Norwegen was the civilian occupation regime set up by Nazi Germany in German-occupied Norway during World War II. Its full title in German was the Reichskommissariat für die besetzten norwegischen Gebiete ("Reich Commissariat for the Occupied Norwegian Territories"). It was governed by ''Reichskommissar'' Josef Terboven until his deposition on 7 May 1945. Sissel Benneche Osvold (born 4 April 1945) is a Norwegian journalist. She was born in Stavanger, a daughter of Gerd Benneche, and was married to Totto Osvold. She worked for the newspaper ''Dagbladet'' from 1973 to 2007, where she had her own column, ''Sidesprang'', from 1990. She was awarded ''Den Store Journalistprisen'' by the Norwegian Press Association in 1992. Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards in English, is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide.
