Tote António "Toti" Gomes (born 16 January 1999) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Wolverhampton Wanderers. Born in Guinea-Bissau, he plays for the Portugal national team. Club career Gomes made his LigaPro debut for Estoril on 5 May 2019 in a game against Académico Viseu. On 2 September 2020, Gomes was signed by English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers and immediately loaned out to Swiss Challenge League side Grasshopper Club Zürich for the 2020–21 season. His first appearance for the Swiss club was a start in the opening game, against Winterthur, which Grasshopper won. His scored first goal for the Swiss side during a 5–2 loss against Kriens. Wolverhampton () is a city, metropolitan borough and administrative centre in the West Midlands, England. The population size has increased by 5.7%, from around 249,500 in 2011 to 263,700 in 2021. The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (also referred to as AFCON 2021 or CAN 2021), known as the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial international men's football championship of Africa organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The 2019–20 LigaPro was the 30th season of Portuguese Association football, football's second-tier league, and the sixth season under the current LigaPro title. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2024 (stylised as UEFA EURO 2024) or simply Euro 2024, will be the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Europe organised by UEFA.
