Tosu, Saga
is a Cities of Japan, city located in the eastern part of Saga Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, Japan. As of February 28, 2017, the city has an estimated population of 72,755 and a population density of 1,000 persons per km2. The total area is 71.73 km2. Overview Tosu is one of the major transportation hubs of Kyushu. Its main train station is Tosu Station which connects the Nagasaki Main Line and the Kagoshima Main Line. is a Japanese professional football club, currently playing in the J1 League. The team is located in Tosu, Saga Prefecture. ''Sagan'' is a coined word with a couple of meanings behind it. One of its homophones is in Japanese. This symbolises many small elements uniting to form one formidable object, for example as a metaphor for a team. Tosu Futures
was a Japanese football club that played in the former Japan Football League between 1994 and 1996. History PJM Futures was founded in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka in 1987 as the team of PJM Japan, a company based on Paul J. Meyer's U.S. academy Success (the company name came from Meyer's initials). The club was later moved to Tosu, Saga in 1994, in which it changed its name to Tosu Futures. This happened one year after joining the former Japan Football League's Division 2 (which was merged into a single JFL division in 1994). Saga Stadium was used as a temporary home ground until Tosu Stadium opened in 1996. In January, 1997, Tosu futures caught the withdrawal of PJM Japan and was dissolved.
