Torvild Aakvaag
Torvild Aakvaag (27 January 1927 – 9 April 2020) was a Norwegian businessperson. He was born in Bærum, and was a cand.jur. by education. He was employed in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1951 to 1956, but left for a career in Norsk Hydro. He was promoted to head of the judicial department in 1967, and head of the petroleum department in 1970. He advanced to become assisting director-general in 1977, and director-general (CEO) in 1984. He succeeded Odd Narud. He stayed in this position until 1991; after this he was chairman of the board from 1992 to 1997. He has also been a board member of Orkla Borregaard, Storebrand and Nobel Industrier, and chaired Hydro Aluminium and Korn- og Foderstof Kompagniet. Egil Myklebust
Egil Myklebust (born 9 June 1942) is a Norwegian businessperson and lawyer. Since 2001 he has been chairman of the board of SAS Group. Born in Kvinnherad, Myklebust took a law degree from the University of Oslo in 1967, before starting work with the Norwegian Welfare Services (1968 to 1971). After that he worked at Norsk Hydro from 1971 to 2001, the ten last as chief executive officer. After he retired of CEO of Norsk Hydro he took over as chairman of the board of Norsk Hydro (until 2004) and SAS Group, as well as deputy board chairman of Norske Skog. He was also CEO of the Norwegian Employers' Confederation (NAF) from 1987 to 1989, and then of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise until 1990, overseeing the 1989 merger. Korn- og Foderstof Kompagniet (KfK) was a Danish company in the feed-stuffs industry. Founded in Aarhus in 1896 by 12 merchants it grew through the early 20th century to become one of the largest Danish businesses trading in feed-stuffs and grain with branches in many Danish cities. It became one of the largest employers in Aarhus until the 2000s when the grain business was bought by a number of competitors, led by Dansk Landbrugs Grovvareselskab, and renamed Treka. The remainder of KfK was reformed into the company Biomar A/S, focused mainly on fish feed.
