Toru Suzuki
is a Japanese professional golfer, currently playing on the Japan Golf Tour. Suzuki was born in Gifu Prefecture. He turned professional in 1990. Suzuki won his first title on the Japan Golf Tour in 1993, and would win consistently between then and 2004. Suzuki qualified for his second major championship in 1998 at The Open Championship after a win in Japan at the Sapporo Tokyu Open. He missed the cut. He also played in the 2002 Open Championship, but missed the 36-hole cut there, too. Suzuki ended a five-year winless drought in Japan in 2009 with a five stroke win in October at the mynavi ABC Championship. Suzuki has earned over 753,000,000 Yen in his career on the Japan Golf Tour, which is equivalent to over $8,200,000. Paul Sheehan (golfer)
Paul Sheehan (born 26 January 1977) is an Australian professional golfer. Sheehan plays mainly on the PGA Tour of Australasia and the Japan Golf Tour. He has featured in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking. He has three wins in Japan, including the 2006 Japan Open Golf Championship, Japan Open, and one win in Australia. He has also played on the PGA Tour. He lives in Melbourne and plays at the Victoria Golf Club as a member. Sheehan finished 20th on the Nationwide Tour money list in 2006, giving him his first start on the PGA Tour. David Ishii
David S. Ishii (born July 26, 1955) is an American professional golfer of Japanese descent. Early life Ishii grew up on the island of Kauai in Hawaii and graduated from Kauai High School. As a junior in high school, he won the Hawaii State High School Championship. Amateur career Ishii played his collegiate golf at the University of Houston from 1974 to 1977. He won four individual events, was a member of the 1977 NCAA Championship team, and was a 1977 All-American. Professional career He turned professional in 1979. He led the money list on the Japan Golf Tour in 1987. He has 14 victories on the Japan Golf Tour and is 13th on the career money list. Ishii won the inaugural Kapalua Open in 1982 and also won the 1990 Hawaiian Open, a PGA Tour event. He was the second Hawaiian native to win the event, after Ted Makalena in 1966.
