Toronto's Festival Of Beer
The Toronto Festival of Beer (TFOB), also known as Beer Fest, is an annual event that takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The festival launched in 1996 and celebrates Canada’s rich brewing history by showcasing beer of all styles, paired with food curated by some of Toronto's popular restaurants and Chefs, in addition to world renowned entertainment on the Bandshell Stage. Today, Toronto's Festival of Beer features more than 400 brands from around the world and many Ontario craft brewers. Creemore Springs is a brewery in Creemore, Ontario, Canada, which first opened in 1987. It was founded by John Wiggins, and its flagship brew was a premium amber lager brewed with specialty malts, fire brewed in a copper kettle. In 2005, it was acquired by Molson, a subsidiary of the seventh largest brewery corporation in the world, Molson Coors Brewing Company. The brewery is known for not using preservatives during the brew process or pasteurizing afterwards. Because of this, it recommends perpetual refrigeration. The brewery states that it uses only four ingredients in its brewing process: malted barley, hops, water, and yeast. All or Nothing Brewhouse was founded in early 2014 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The company started as a contract brewery, brewing their beer out of a third-party facility in Toronto, Ontario. In July 2016, All or Nothing acquired a group of companies being Trafalgar Ales & Meads, Trafalgar Artisanal Distillery and Pioneer Black Creek Brewery to gain access to bricks and mortar production.
