Topoli (rural-type Settlement)
Topoli ( uk, Тополі, russian: Тополи, both names meaning ) is a rural-type settlement in Kupiansk Raion, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. Geography Topoli is on the western, right bank of the Oskil River, adjacent to the Russia–Ukraine border, border with Russia and at the northern end of Dvorichanskyi National Nature Park. On the other side of the Oskil, to the south, there is a much larger village that is also called Topoli (village), Kharkiv Oblast, Topoli. History On June 12, 2020, in accordance with the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 725-p "On the definition of administrative centers and approval of territories of territorial communities of Kharkiv oblast", it became part of Dvorichna settlement hromada. On July 19, 2020, as a result of further administrative-territorial reforms that abolished Dvorichna Raion, the village became part of Kupiansk Raion of Kharkiv Oblast. Dvorichanskyi National Nature Park
Dvorichna National Park ( uk, Дворічанський національний природний парк) is a national park in Ukraine, on the right bank of the Oskil (river), Oskil River, in Eastern Ukraine. It was created in 2009, as a result of a President of Ukraine, presidential decree. The park is located in Kupiansk Raion, Kharkiv Oblast, near the Russia–Ukraine border, Russian border. It covers 3,131 hectares of state-owned land. Topography The territory has dissected topography, with many valleys and slopes. Flora and fauna The limestone rock and soils of the chalk steppe creates a unique ecosystem. The park is the habitat of plant species including ''Artemisia nutans'', ''Artemisia salsoloides'', ''Artemisia hololeuca'', ''Hyssopus cretaceus'', ''Scrophularia cretacea'', ''Matthiola fragrans'', ''Linum usitatissimum'', and ''Androsace koso-poljanskii''. 30% of the plant species are endemic to the area.
