Toon Studio
Toon Studio is a land at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris, France. The land, formerly known as Animation Courtyard, received a revamp in 2007 to features a more colourful and "immersive," theming. In August of 2021, much of the land's Pixar attractions were rebranded under a new sub-area referred to as Worlds of Pixar. Developed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the new land was announced on January 11, 2005 by Euro Disney SCA, the owner and operator of Disneyland Resort Paris, as part of a new initiative to add new attractions to both theme parks made possible by a major financial restructuring. The new creative director for Walt Disney Imagineering, John Lasseter, has made it clear he is reviewing all concepts for attractions that have been definitely commissioned, and in particular the Toon Studio is an area he wants to expand upon. Walt Disney Studios Park
Walt Disney Studios Park ( French: ''Parc Walt Disney Studios'') is the second of two theme parks built at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France, which opened on 16 March 2002. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Products division. Upon opening, it was dedicated to show business, movie themes, production, and behind-the-scenes, but in the 2010s, in a similar manner to its sister park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida, it began to distance itself from the original studio backlot theming and entered a new direction of attraction development inspired by iconic Disney stories. In 2019, the park hosted approximately 5.2 million guests. Crush's Coaster
Crush's Coaster is a spinning roller coaster at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris. The attraction officially opened on June 9, 2007 as part of an expansion project in Toon Studio, an area within Walt Disney Studios Park formerly known as Animation Courtyard. The ride is themed to Disney-Pixar's ''Finding Nemo'' film, and named after Crush, a green sea turtle voiced by Andrew Stanton from the movie. Animagique
Animagique was a live show at Walt Disney Studios Park in France, housed in Studios 3, at the entrance of Toon Studio. The show closed on January 31, 2016, to become the Animagique Theater building for ''Mickey and the Magician'' which began on July 2, 2016. Plot The show opens with Mickey and Donald teaching a drawing course in a room. At its far end is a door leading to the Cinematheque, which is strictly forbidden, as Mickey instructs Donald. However, after Mickey's departure, Donald decides he can open the door a little, without Mickey even knowing. As he does so, a flash of light takes Donald into the film vault. He then encounters scenes from various films including ''Dumbo'', ''The Jungle Book'', ''Pinocchio'' (formerly), ''The Little Mermaid'' and ''The Lion King''. At the end, Donald tells Mickey about his amazing journey through the films, but Mickey doesn't believe him until Baloo, King Louie, and Rafiki walk into the room. Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop
Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is a parachute jump-style ride, at Walt Disney Studios Park in France and Hong Kong Disneyland. The ride is part of the Toy Story Playland in France and Toy Story Land in Hong Kong. The France ride opened on August 17, 2010 while the Hong Kong installation opened on November 17, 2011. Summary The attraction is based on a scene in the original Toy Story film where Green Army Men parachute through stair banisters to investigate Andy's birthday presents. Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin (also known as Slinky Dog Spin) is a Caterpillar-style ride at Walt Disney Studios Park in France, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland Park. RC Racer (known as Rex's Racer in Shanghai) is a steel shuttle roller coaster operating at Walt Disney Studios Park in France, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland. Dumbo the Flying Elephant is an aerial carousel-style ride located in Fantasyland at six Disney parks around the world. It is based on the 1941 film, ''Dumbo''.
