''Too Cold at Home'' is the second studio album by American country music artist Mark Chesnutt, released in 1990 on MCA Records. Certified platinum by the RIAA for sales of one million copies, the album produced five Top Ten singles for Chesnutt on the '' Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts. Chronologically, these singles were "Too Cold at Home" (#3), "Brother Jukebox" (#1), "Blame It on Texas" (#5), "Your Love Is a Miracle" (#3), and "Broken Promise Land" (#10). Mark Nelson Chesnutt (born September 6, 1963) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Between 1990 and 1999, he had his greatest chart success recording for Universal Music Group Nashville's MCA and Decca branches, with a total of eight albums between those two labels. During this timespan, Chesnutt also charted twenty top-ten hits on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts, of which eight reached number one: "Brother Jukebox", " I'll Think of Something", " It Sure Is Monday", " Almost Goodbye", " I Just Wanted You to Know", "Gonna Get a Life", " It's a Little Too Late", and a cover of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing". ''Turn the Page'' is a studio album by American country music artist Waylon Jennings, released on RCA Records in 1985. Background Jennings recorded the album at a time when he was completely drug-free; this had not occurred in his career for about twenty years. In April 1984, Jennings rented a house in Arizona for himself, his wife Jessi Colter, and young son Shooter, and quit cocaine cold turkey, although he did not intend to quit for good. Jennings was inspired to remain drug free mainly because of his son. In the audio version of his autobiography ''Waylon'', Jennings recalled that quitting drugs had an immediate effect on his music: "I hit better notes now that I wasn't plagued with laryngitis. David Briggs (American Musician)
David Paul Briggs (born March 16, 1943 in Killen, Alabama, United States) is an American keyboardist, record producer, arranger, composer, and studio owner. Briggs is one of an elite core of Nashville studio musicians known as "the Nashville Cats" and has been featured in a major exhibition by the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015. He played his first recording session at the age of 14 and has gone on to add keyboards to a plethora of pop, rock, and country artists, as well as recording hundreds of corporate commercials. Richard Bennett (born July 22, 1951) is an American guitarist and record producer. As a touring sideman, he performed with Neil Diamond for seventeen years and Mark Knopfler since 1994. As a session musician, he has worked with Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, Rodney Crowell, and Vince Gill. He has produced albums for Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Marty Stuart, and Kim Richey. Wilburn Steven Rice (born April 19, 1939 in Datto, Arkansas) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Paul Charles Craft (August 12, 1938 – October 18, 2014) was an American country singer-songwriter. The Memphis-born Craft was known as the songwriter for Mark Chesnutt's single "Brother Jukebox", and the novelty song "It's Me Again, Margaret", recorded by Ray Stevens, and Craft himself. Between 1977 and 1978, Craft charted three singles on RCA Nashville. His song "Keep Me From Blowing Away" was originally recorded by The Seldom Scene on their 1973 album ''Act II'' and was then recorded by Linda Ronstadt on her 1974 album ''Heart Like a Wheel'', and has since been recorded by Moe Bandy, T.
