Thomas Beadle (born March 22, 1987) is an American politician from the U.S. state, state of North Dakota. A Republican Party (United States), Republican, he is the North Dakota State Treasurer. Beadle was previously a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives. Career Beadle graduated from Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota), Concordia College. He has worked as a realtor and business manager of a graphic design firm. Beadle was first elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 2010, succeeding Lee Myxter, who did not run for reelection to run for a seat in the North Dakota Senate. Beadle ran for North Dakota State Treasurer in the 2020 elections. Per the state constitution, North Dakota is divided into between 40 and 54 legislative districts apportioned by population as determined by the decennial census. The North Dakota House of Representatives is the lower house of the North Dakota Legislative Assembly and is larger than the North Dakota Senate. North Dakota is divided into between 40 and 54 legislative districts apportioned by population as determined by the decennial census. The 2000 redistricting plan provided for 47 districts. As each district elects two Representatives to the House, there are currently 94 representatives in the House. Representatives serve four-year terms. Elections are staggered such that half the districts have elections every two years.
