Tony Cronstam
Tony Cronstam (born 6 August 1969, Växjö) is a Swedish cartoonist. An illustrator of role-playing games for Target Games during the 1980s, he made his debut as a cartoonist with the future-based strip ''Provet'' (''The Test'') in '' Svenska Serier'' (no. 3/90). In 1990, he began drawing ''Bamse'', and was the principal ''Bamse'' artist between 1998 and 2001. He taught at comic school from 1999 to 2004. Together with Maria Cronstam, he created the comic strip ''Elvis,'' in 2000, for publication in '' Metro Stockholm''. ''Elvis'' won the prestigious Adamson Award in 2004. Since 2018, Cronstam has drawn Disney comics for the Egmont publishing house. Adamson Award
Adamson Awards is a Swedish award awarded to notable cartoonists, named after the famous Swedish comic strip "Adamson" (Silent Sam). They have been presented by the Swedish Academy of Comic Art (SACA) since 1965. There have been years in that time when neither award or only one of the two awards was presented. Metro International is a Swedish global media company based in Luxembourg that publishes the ''Metro'' newspapers. Metro International's advertising sales have grown at a compound annual growth rate of 41 percent since launch of the first newspaper edition in 1995. It is a freesheet, meaning that distribution is free, with revenues thus generated entirely through advertising. Metro Stockholm
The Stockholm metro ( sv, Stockholms tunnelbana) is a rapid transit system in Stockholm, Sweden. The first line opened in 1950, and today the system has 100 stations in use, of which 47 are underground and 53 above ground. There are three coloured lines, as shown on the tube maps, which form seven numbered routes with different termini. Routes numbered 17, 18 and 19 (green line), 13 and 14 (red line) and 10 and 11 (blue line) all go through the centre of the city, resulting in a very centralized system. All three lines and seven routes interchange at T-Centralen station. Apart from this, there are three other interchange between lines, at Fridhemsplan, Slussen and Gamla stan stations. Växjö
Växjö ( ) is a city and the seat of Växjö Municipality, Kronoberg County, Sweden. It had 70,489 inhabitants (2019) out of a municipal population of 95,995 (2021). It is the administrative, cultural, and industrial centre of Kronoberg County and the episcopal see of the Diocese of Växjö and the location of Växjö Cathedral. The town is home to Linnaeus University.
